P0533 engine code seems a kind of powertrain problem, we try to show one by one the meaning and the solution.
Brief explanation of the P0533 code and definition of P0533 is the bottom side.
Problem is related engine, transmission and emissions systems.
|0||SAE - Generic|
|5||Computer And Auxiliary Outputs|
|3||Cruise Control Servo Indicates Low|
|3||Transmission Control Module Reprogrammable Memory|
SAE - Generic codes, which have a '0' as their second digit to indicate they are common to all makes and models of vehicles. These are the codes that are required for basic emissions fault diagnosis.
How To Fix P0533 ?
Like the all engines, the car engine system employs specially developed hydraulic lifters (known as switching roller followers) for the P0533 code intake and exhaust valves. The lifters can be collapsed by disengaging an internal locking pin. The locking pin is disengaged using solenoids to alter oil pressure fed into the lifter.
The poor running symptoms are consistent with a MAP sensor malfunction. In addition, in some cases, a bad MAP sensor will not throw a code. Again, the ELD code likely represents a separate wiring issue. When you see P0533 engine fault code on your engine code reader this description will help you.

Final Step: In the definitions listed below, there is a test drive recommended after you've completed any repairs to see if the condition is fixed. Before you take a test drive after a repair, always erase the P Code(s) first. This will turn the check engine light off and then you will know if the check engine light returns, you've got further diagnostics to complete.
